The inscription on the Monastery’s Linos (wine press), built in 1709, is the proof that the indigenous variety Liatiko has been cultivated in the vineyards of Toplou Monastery. Till nowadays, this ancient Cretan red wine is organically treated and bottled with great expertise at the Monastery’s Winery, emphasizing on its unique characteristics.

Finish: Medium-length, with lingering notes of red fruits, providing a clean and refreshing finish.
